More on Hemorrhoids and Diet
I work with people daily to help with their Hemorrhoids and counsel many on the importance of diet. Many have also heard me talk about the link between Hemorrhoids suffering and Candida. Personal experience as a Hemorrhoid sufferer, along with the thousands of customers I have helped, have led me to some conclusions. If you know anything about Candida, then you know that the problems of this yeast infection can be localized in the lower colon area, but also for many can be a manifestation of a broader problem called systemic Candida. At the worst stage of the progression of Candida as with systemic, Candida can eventually infect every organ of the body. And eventually, Candida can be the 'hidden' cause behind many other diseases and symptoms. Of course some of our customers already know about Candida and have drawn the link between their Hemorrhoids or colon issues and the likelihood of having a Candida infection. And still other customers come to us having maybe hearing of the word, but knowing little about it.
Candida as some may know, is fed by sugars. Also, yeast, refined carbs such as white rice, pasta, and sweets feed Candida. Avoidance of fruit, and juice is also recommended in the Candida diet. The Candida diet is well published on the Internet, repeated many times over and also found in many books on the Candida topic.
Some of the customers I have worked with who have some of the most stubborn cases of Hemorrhoids often share with me that they have a great diet starting with a high fiber intake daily, little or no red meat as with beef or pork, lots of vegetables, low carbs, oh, and a lot of fruit.
It is when someone shares with me that they eat a lot of fruit that the alarm bells go off in my head. It is through my vast experience in working with many people that I now have come to the conclusion that a lot of fruit consumption is detrimental to Hemorrhoids, or put another way contributes to ones' suffering. In fact, I now believe that fruit may even be worse than just pure sugar. Also in the news these days is evidence showing that high fructose corn sugar as found in sodas, may be worse and more promoting of diabetes that just sugar. The point of all this is that few would say that fruit is bad for anyone, but best in moderation and to be avoided if you are having an episode of Hemorrhoids and especially if you know that you suffer with a pronounced Candida infection.
